The experts have spoken - Drinking coffee can extend your years. What coffee drinker doesn't want to hear that? Brand new research shows that if you drink two to four cups of coffee per day you will live longer than if you do not drink coffee at all. These glorious cups of coffee can be enjoyed with or without sugar.
A study that lasted more than seven years and included more than 500,000 potential participants, more than 170,000 actual participants took place in the UK. During the study there were 3177 deaths from cancer and heart disease and other reasons, it was discovered that those who drank several cups of coffee a day lived longer even if they had heart disease and even some forms of cancer - with or without sugar.
Instant coffee, freshly ground coffee and even decaffeinated coffee gave the same benefits, an astounding 30 percent decrease in the death rate compared to those who did not drink coffee, and the benefit was greatest among those who drank two to four cups a day. Even though the study was continued for seven, those in the medical profession are saying the same thing - too much sugar can cause problems on its own, including obesity.
Caution is suggested and the study did not include those who just started drinking coffee because of the findings. If you must, talk to your health care provider more more insight and read the full article here.
